Roland De Wolfe Biography Perhaps the most popular player out of Britain, Roland De Wolfe is known for his witty intellect and sharp skills at the poker table. A former poker writer, this 9-5 er turned professional poker player is tearing up the poker circuit from London to Las Vegas having earned more than $2.5 Million dollar since he broke onto the poker scene in 2004. De Wolfe is a native of London, England and has been gambling since the age of 12 starting with friendly poker games with his school friends. As Roland got older he progressed as a "pool hustler" until his passion for poker and journalism led him to begin a career as a poker journalist covering tournaments on the worldwide circuit. During his time as a tournament reporter, Roland started putting his observation of poker players skills to use and within the year was a full fledge poker player, leaving his post from the rail and getting into the action. Since his debut, Roland has had several notable cashes such as a finish in the money in the 2005 WSOP $1,000 No-Limit event. In July 2005, he claimed the title of the Grand Prix De Paris on the WPT circuit and continues to play in some of the biggest cash-games both online and off during his leisure time.
